From The Pastor's Desk

Good morning and we are really glad you came!

I would like to say thank you to everyone you gave extra last week. Your help will be blessed.

I would also like to pass on our condolences to Anne and Dale. Dale's sister-in-law passed away this last week. Our prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Please remember to mark on your calendars the events coming up at church. This year we are having a Good Friday service starting with a breakfast. Please see Ruth on how you can help out. Then on Sunday morning, we will be celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. As part of the worship service, the Men's Choir will be singing. Please remember to invite friends and family to this important morning. Many unchurched people make Easter the one time they come to church. The Lord has given me an important 2-part message on what happens when we die. I know that this message will be relevant and thought provoking as the Bible is very clear that there is a life after death. With this, please keep in prayer and remember to invite people to church always.

Have a great week,
Pastor Orland

***Pastor Orland will be away April 25, 26, & 27 at the Annual District Conference. Please remember to pray for Pastor Orland as he has been nominated once again for Presbyter for the Westman section.

From The Pastor's Desk

Good morning we are really glad you came. I would like to take this moment to let you know that our church finances could use a little boost. We have been working diligently with our finances and working slowly to become a financially independent church. Any extra giving would be appreciated at this time.

As a pastor I believe in tithing and giving offerings and also giving sacrificially. I believe that a church can thrive when everyone does their part. That is why you won’t see us do any major fundraisers that tax our time and energy. I believe it is God honoring to have the church supported through the giving of tithes and offerings. We can use your help. If you do not give regularly, please prayerfully consider to do so.

The blessings that happen as a result of giving are immeasurable. God will bless you. Your regular financial gift helps many volunteers at church keep a strong Gospel presence in this community and surrounding area. We need creative ministries that reach young people and children who are bombarded with every kind of temptation out there. Your giving enables us to disciple people to become strong followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your giving helps us  tell people about a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. People are facing an eternity in hell without hearing the Gospel. We need to keep telling people about the Good News.

Thank you in advance for considering this urgent need.

Pastor Orland.
